Description

The Emery family would like to welcome you to stay at Cabins On Strawberry Hill resort. Snuggled in the pines, waiting for you at a perfect elevation of 6,100 feet, our scenic hilltop resort is on the edge of the village of Strawberry, AZ, the last private land below the Mogollon Rim bordering the Tonto National Forest. Our fourteen knotty-pine Chalet style (A-frame) housekeeping cabins have a small Air-Conditioner in case of heat wave, and have chairs on the front deck. On the back patio each cabin has a table with chairs and charcoal barbecue.

A unique feature in our living room is the soaring rough-pine ceilings that are open two-stories above the living room to the top of the cabin. The vaulted living room ceilings make our cabins feel relaxing and cozy inside, one of our most appreciated features. Living rooms have a queen sofa-sleeper, freestanding wood-stove fireplace (UNLIMITED INDOOR FIREWOOD INCLUDED) where you can watch the fire, VCR and cable TV. The kitchenettes have a 4-burner stove top, microwave, coffee maker, toaster, refrigerator, dishes, pots/pans and utensils for cooking simple meals. Our kitchenettes do not have a regular convection oven.

The bedroom has a queen bed with a Serta "5-Star" or "Luxury Suite" mattress. Off of the bedroom is a full bathroom with a combination bathtub and shower. In our two bedroom cabins, our 2nd bedroom is an open sleeping loft with either a queen bed or two twin beds.

In addition to each cabin's charcoal grill, there are additional gas grills located around the property for shared use among the cabins. We keep our resort cabins clean and well maintained. Here at our resort we have hammocks in the trees, basketball, badminton, volleyball, tetherball, horseshoes, Ping-Pong, a flagstone patio campfire ring (Firewood Included), swing-sets, sled trails, hiking directly into the national forest and much more.

You may light the resort campfire at any time. You are free to use as much wood for your cabin's interior fireplace as you need (wood removal from our resort is theft). We also supply a Visitor's Guide, Payson Roundup Newspaper, hiking trail descriptions, fishing guide, coffee filters, salt, pepper, dish soap, matches, fire starter, firewood, bathroom tissue, Kleenex, hand soap, paper towels, kitchen & bath towels, and bed linens. Our resort is a 5-to-10 minute walk from several restaurants and a family-run market. Please visit our other pages here on our web site.
