Advanced
Time To Allow:
2 - 3 hours

Description

Located in the United States-Mexico Border region, the Carr Canyon-John Cooper Loop is some of the best singletrack in the area. Winding through the foothills of the Huachuca Mountains, the Carr Canyon-John Cooper Loop features strenuous climbs on smooth dirt roadway and fast, twisting singletrack descents.

The Carr Canyon-John Cooper Loop is an amalgamation of several trails in the area. The ride starts on the Carr Canyon Roadway which winds uphill to a large stack of boulders where the ride meets the Clark Springs trail. The Clark Springs trail meets with the John Cooper trail to the left which winds towards the Miller Canyon Road. The Perimeter Trail peels off to the left for rolling and fast singletrack all the way back to the trailhead.
