Description

Kokopelli's Trail is an epic biking route that lies mostly in Utah. The trail runs for 142 miles between Loma, Colorado (a few miles west of Grand Junction) and Moab, Utah, winding through remote desert sandstone and shale canyons. The trail has developed something of a following recently, so expect to encounter fellow riders along its stretches of single track, county road and 4X4 sections. While much of the trail can be traveled by vehicles, there are sections for bicycles only that keep the route from being dominated by the noise of motors. Kokopelli's Trail offers challenge, adventure and outstanding recreation.
