Description
Mormon Lake Lodge is in northern Arizona's Coconino National Forest---in the Colorado Plateau/Mogollon Rim region. The Lodge is surrounded by Ponderosa Pine trees and offers guest rooms, cabins. Summer activities include hiking, horseback riding, mountain biking, 4 Wheel Drive Rangers, canoeing, fishing, pony rides, hay wagon rides, roping events, and an on-site petting zoo. Winter activities include cross country skiing, snowmobiling, and snowshoeing. While staying at the Lodge, enjoy a meal at our historic open-pit steakhouse or a drink in our 1880s-style saloon. The restaurant offers full-service dining and on/off site catering for private receptions/parties & weddings. On-site rodeo arena and large- and small-group meeting space available.
Just forty-five minutes from downtown Flagstaff and several area attractions including the world-famous Lowell Observatory, The Museum of Northern Arizona and the NAU campus. Sedona, Verde Valley, Prescott and Jerome are within 1-2 hrs. drive depending on your itinerary. Other easy day trips from here include Payson, Lake Powell, the Grand Canyon, Snow Bowl, Meteor Crater and Navajo Nation.
