Description

This route begins as a steep climb along a maintained jeep road, before passing through some difficult sections and descending to the Mount Princeton hot springs. The charm of this ride is the stunning views of the Collegiate Peaks, some of the most striking mountains in Colorado, and the unique Chalk Cliffs.

Basic Directions
From Salida, head north on US 24 to the small town of Nathrop. Turn left onto County Road 162 and follow the signs to Mount Princeton Hot Springs Resort. The route begins heading east on County Road 162.
