Description

Mt. Elden Trail starts along Shultz Pass Road and climbs from 7,100 feet to over 9,000 feet in just 6 miles. Take a breather at the lookout towers.

You'll need to locate the "catwalk", a singletrack heading north back towards Shultz Creek. Soon you'll end up on Sunset Trail on the north side of Little Mt. Elden. At mile 10, you will come upon a parking lot. Ride to the left through the lot and plummet down Schultz Creek Trail. This is VERY FAST singletrack.

.This is an advanced ride for serious climbers only.

Basic Directions
Drive north on Hwy. 180 from Flagstaff 2.5 miles and turn right onto Schultz Pass Road. Look for the parking lot on the right hand side of the road shortly after the road turns into gravel.
