Description
The Munds Wagon Trail features a hand built singletrack with amazing views of the surrounding Sedona area. The climbing on Munds Wagon Trail is consistent and never too steep, allowing riders of almost all ability levels to enjoy a ride here.
The Munds Wagon Trail’s singletrack winds through a paradise of redrock, past hoodoos and spires and over slickrock. A small side spur off the trail to the Cow Pie area lets riders bike to one of Sedona’s famous vortex sites. Vortexes are areas of earth and spiritual energy that a number of visitors to Sedona come exclusively to experience.
The Munds Wagon Trail crosses the Schnebly Hill Road several times on both ascent and descent, allowing riders to break off the trail if need be and head down. Please note, once riders pass the Carousel rock formation and cross the Schnebly Hill Road, the trail changes to the Schnebly Hill Trail which enters the wilderness area. Riding in the wilderness area is a definite no no, with fines averaging $300 per person.
