Description
Located in the McDowell Mountains within McDowell Mountain Regional Park, approximately 25 miles from metro Phoenix, the Pemberton Loop is a perfect alternative to the crowded trail systems of the central city area. Riders of all ability levels will enjoy the relaxed riding of the Pemberton Loop trail and the Sonoran Desert scenery of the area.
Pemberton Loop starts with an easy climb up old double track road, becoming singletrack as the trail levels and begins to roll along the mountainsides. Several trails spur from the Pemberton Loop Trail, offering alternatives for additional uphill climbs and downhill jaunts, though the primary trail is perhaps the best quality trail in the complex. The Pemberton Loop culminates in a short, fast and non-technical downhill back to the trailhead.
