Description

Within the Black Ridge Canyons Wilderness, this trail accesses the Pollock Canyon drainage, Rattlesnake Canyon and Flume Canyon.

ATTRACTIONS: Talus slopes, slickrock cliffs and fascinating sculpted rocks dominate the scenery along the trail. Opportunities for challenging hiking, solitude and wildlife viewing.

NOTE: Devils/Flume/Pollock Canyons have a designated trail system for hiking and equestrian users. Please help us by staying on the designated routes and minimizing your impact to these special canyons.

Trailhead rest room is wheelchair accessible.

Basic Directions

From Grand Junction, take I-70 west to the Fruita exit, turn left and cross back over I-70 and drive 1.5 miles to Kings View Estate. Turn right into the subdivision and stay on the main road until it turns into a dirt road. Drive approximately 6 miles to parking area/trailhead on the left side of the road.
