Description
The Peavine Trail is a great trail to use as an introduction to mountain biking. Beginning riders, smaller children and groups with a variety of riding abilities will find the Peavine Trail and enjoyable way to spend several hours on a beautiful day.
A converted railway bed, the Peavine Trail is amongst a growing trend across the United States to convert old, abandoned railways into multi-use trail systems. Peavine Trail is level, with negligible elevation gain and loss. Views of Watson Lake area excellent as the trail winds into the impressive Granite Dells, an impressive geologic wonder of bulbous granite protrusions that almost look otherworldly.

The Peavine Trail is very popular and well traveled but as riders should consider bringing extra food, water and clothing. It is also a great idea to include a repair kit and first aid kit. The Peavine trail is multi-use and hikers may be encountered. Please be considerate on the trails and understand right of way protocol.
