Situated among the Ponderosa pine, Rolfe C. Hoyer Campground is one of the most popular campgrounds for families and seniors. It is located near the resort town of Greer which offers many activities during the day and restaurants at night.

The Greer Lakes and the Little Colorado River are within walking distance for avid anglers. Interpretative programs are offered at the amphitheater and hosted nature walks occur throughout the summer. Visitors should be prepared for rain, often heavy, through July and August. Also expect cool to cold nighttime temperatures. Tents, trailers and motorhomes up to 32 foot are allowed.
