Description
The Saguaro Cactus Forest Trail is a fantastic way to get up close and ‘personal’ with these mighty giants of the cactus family. A one way singletrack loop circumnavigates a ‘forest’ of these cacti and allows riders of all ability levels to enjoy the beauty of the Sonoran Desert of the Tucson area.
Located within Saguaro National Monument, the Saguaro Cactus Forest Trail the only trail in the monument that allows mountain bikes. Life is abundant in this park and a variety of desert plants and animals make this their home year round, even when it’s 115 degrees Fahrenheit outside. Please respect the home of these creatures and don’t trounce their environment. Please stay on the trail!

Though Saguaro Cactus Forest trail is not remote and riders should still consider bringing extra food, water and clothing. It is never a bad idea when riding in the desert to also bring a repair kit and first aid kit.
