Description
The Oldman loop is an easy trip through the forest with rolling hills and flats. This section of the trail is also groomed and ski tracks set. The Scenic Loop Trail is best skied in a counterclockwise direction to avoid steep grades at the loops' north end. This loop takes skiers through forest meadows and clearcuts. Trail No. 148 from Oldman Pass Sno-Park to Road 3050 Sno-Park is an easy one way or round trip tour utilizing trail No. 150. This route takes skiers past small meadows and clearcuts through the forest parallel to highway 30. This section of the trail is groomed and ski tracks set with funds provided by Washington State Parks and U.S. Forest Service. Mileage: Oldman Loop 1.2, Scenic Loop 5.7, McClellan Meadows Sno-Park 2.0, Road 3050 Sno-Park 2.5.
