Description

Imagine the true darkness that only pure, deep desert can provide. The star-filled skies above hold almost no glow from nearby cities, allowing amazing star and moon gazing. The stillness is broken only by the songs of the coyotes.

The Twin Peaks campground invites you to stay as your home away from home.

Additional Notes

There are no electric, water, or sewage hook-ups; however, a dump station with potable water is available, and the restrooms have flush toilets and running water.

Four sites have picnic tables designed for wheelchair and scooter users; these sites are located nearest the restrooms. Some of these sites also have raised tent pads which may be inconvenient.

Generator hours are from 8:00am to 10:00am, and from 4:00pm to 6:00pm.

Group sites in the Twin Peaks campground are available by reservation. Contact the Visitor Center at 520-387-6849 x 7302 for more information.
