Description
The White Tank Mountains, located within a 30-minute drive of metro Phoenix, offer a series of loop trails perfect for all ability level riders. The White Tank Mountains offer a reprieve from the hectic pace of urban life without too much driving time.
Several one-way loops comprise the White Tank Mountain trail system, ranging from double track jeep trail to easy single track. The White Tank trails are less traveled than many other metro area rides and are both a great location for beginners to become accustomed to trail riding and a great trail for more advanced riders to get in a good spin.

White Tank Mountain Loop Trails are a multi-use trail system and riders should be aware of right of way protocol when approaching hikers, horseback riders and other bikers. In addition, White Tank Mountain Park currently requires an entrance fee. Remember when riding in the desert to bring a well-stocked repair kit and plenty of water, due to the harsh nature of this environment.

Basic Directions
Take I-10 westbound to Cotton Avenue exit. Turn north and drive 7 miles to Olive Avenue. Turn westbound on Olive Avenue and drive 5 miles to the White Tank Mountain Park entrance. It is another 4 miles to the trailhead once in the park.
